From I Do to Hello Air Force

Zac and I said our vows on May 12th 2009, and from that moment on I have been an Air Force Wife....My wonderful husband is a 2nd Lt. going through ASBC (which I keep calling ASPCA) at Maxwell AFB. He will only be there for a short amount of time before we move to Vandenberg AFB in California. We are both very excited about the move.

Although it has only been a few weeks I have already learned a few important things about the Air Force and the people who are a part of the Air Force family.

1. The Commissary is closed on Mondays.
2. The spend limit is 25 mph on base but sometimes it drops to 15 mph.
3. If you bake cookies for your husband's flight always bake twice as many as you think you'll need.
4. It takes forever to get your ID made.
5. Don't catch driving at 6:30am, 5:00pm, or 9:00pm.

Next week the movers are coming for our stuff. I hope it all goes well.
